Built on a plot of 15,000 sq. mts, with a total built up area of 30,500 sq. mts. King’s College Hospital is a 7-storey hospital located between Al Khail and Al Marabea road at the Dubai Hills. Being a hospital, there are additional MEP considerations that need to be planned for ahead, such as the medical gas system and pneumatic tube systems, calling for which, Akatherm’s HDPE drainage solutions were installed in integration with Akatherm’s dBlue acoustic system to ensure a smooth waste disposal system along with a sound proof solution.
